Prayer Request…

Thursday, August 28th, 2008

We wanted to ask everyone to please be praying for our sweet Kunda in Zambia as she has been under the weather for several weeks now. She is seeking medical attention and we hope that she will be back to 100% very soon! Please pray specifically for wisdom for the doctors treating her and for her healing.

Kunda has been too sick to blog lately but we did want to let you know that things are still progressing well for Wiphan. God has made a way for our school to be completely secured in the recent weeks with burglar bars and locks. This means a great deal for the teachers and children because they will now be able to store their curriculum materials, Bibles, and food for the feeding program on site! Another huge blessing is that we are now able to resume the feeding program. Many thanks to all of our generous donors who make all of this a possibility through their obedience and sacrifice. A nurse has been hired to make weekly visits…she will provide the desperately needed medical care and medication for the widows and orphans. Lastly, we have raised enough funds to begin a microloan program for the widows. These loans will provide seed money for a group of 4-5 widows to start a business and provide for their families. We cannot wait to see the impact this will make in the lives of these families! Praise the Lord for all He has and continues to do in the lives of the people their!

Thank you in advance for your prayers for Kunda and for Wiphan…hopefully she will be up for blogging again soon!

A million thanks…

We will never thank you enough guys, our prayer to God for you is that YOU MAY LIVE LONG AND SEE THE ABUNDANCE THAT GOD HAS IN STORE FOR YOU.  Yesterday, labstone, Francis, Elizabeth and I, had a very wonderful time of conversation with Kevin on phone.  It was extremely great hearing Kevin’s voice – it was like he was with us in Zambia!

First and foremost, let me say that God has done great and might things at Wiphan and He is yet to do more.  Guys, thankyou so much for being the;

EYES OF GOD – You have been to Zambia and seen the porverty in our nation.
You have not just seen but you have extended your financial
and material gifts, to help allievate the poverty from among
the widows and orphans, THANKYOU AND GOD BLESS YOU RICHLY.

HANDS OF GOD- Thanks a million for having allowed God to use your generous
hands to bless the poor widows and orphans with your both
