The Bible, in the book of Ephesians 3;20-21 says that “Now unto Him, who is able to do exceeding abundantly, above all that we ask or think or even imagine, according to the power that worketh in us, unto Him be the glory in the church (at Wiphan) by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end!!!!!!”

God in Heaven, is truly FAITHFUL. He does things beyond our expectation! Great things He has done at Wiphan and He is greatly to be praised.

lots of good and wonderful things are happening at Wiphan.
Wiphan kids have continued to enjoy their lessons with very keen interest in learning and studying.

Wiphan kids, have continued to express gratitude as they enjoy their meals that the school provides to them. wiphan kids are always saying ‘thank you’ to Wiphan management for the food that is provided to them. Looking at the high levels of poverty prevailing in a lot of homes, the meal – program could not have come at a better time than this!!!!
A lot of Wiphan kids keep testifying that they are now fully awake in class because hunger has become a thing of the past. Because of lack of food in alot of orphaned homes, kids that come to learn at Wiphan schools, would dose and sleep in class and fail to concentrate because the brain would be too weak because kids slept on an empty stomach almost everyday. Saints, thank you for feeding the needy. Hunger here, is something that is so REAL. Glory be to God that hunger is being combatted and there is no more SLEEPING IN CLASS.

A million thanks for Wiphan’s mobile clinic. After Sister Mary dewormed Wiphan kids, Ringworms and skin rushes, have become a thing of the past. Sister Mary said ‘ the combination of the deworming and meal programme was going to eradicate ringworms and skin rushes and indeed there is lots of improvement as regards to this.’

Apart from sleeping in class as a result of hunger, some of Wiphan kids suffered severe headaches.
Headaches are now a thing of the past and are stronger more active in school.

The care givers are also very grateful for what is happening at wiphan. They are all excited about their opportunities and are looking forward to doing great things.

We know that God has great things in store for us and we look forward to everything he has planned for all of us.

Lots and Lots of Love.

How did they do it?

Kids are learning with lots of enthusiasm and are extremely determined to work hard and make it into the eighth grade as their friends did. Wiphan’s first grade sevens who made it into grade eight have become a great source of inspiration to both Wiphan kids and the surrounding community. On Monday of last week, Bernard, the one heading Wiphan school at Mapalo, was approached by grade seven teachers from the surrounding schools to find out the secret of the 99%, pass Wiphan had recorded – very humbling and exciting at the same time! The visiting teachers were shown the curriculum books Wiphan-Usa bought last year, which they said they do not have and Labstone has arranged to offer special lessons on how best the grade sevens can be prepared to pass the grade seven exam. Labstone is a wonderful gift to Wiphan schools.
Kids at both centers enjoyed their meal after school as usual. Care-givers continue to express their deep heart felt appreciation for the meal-programme going on at Wiphan schools. Wiphan_Usa, you have made it happen! A million thanks for your great input wonderful saints.

Wiphan-Zambia schools have made a very good name -  something we least expected but this is what God can do – glory and honour be to His name!   Wiphan-Zambia schools have become a center of attraction to the surrounding schools and to the Zambia Ministry of Education, governing bodies.  Wednesday of last week, was a very exciting day when Wiphan schools received the government officials, who came to find out more about the schools’s  operations and activities.
The government officials were impressed with everything, at and  about Wiphan!   The school infrastructure were highly recommended.   The school curriculum books were greatly appreciated and one of the visiting officials said ‘you have very wonderful curriculum books and this is the secret to the 99% pass Wiphan school recorded at last years grade seven examinations.   The meal-programme and the clinic, were highly recommended and appreciated by the government officials.  Teachers received a ‘pat on their back’ because of  their excellent performance and for  working very  hard.  Wiphan-Usa, receive ‘a pat  on your back’ too.  You have made it happen and God richly bless you.
