Help Wiphan

Wiphan Care ministries is a nonprofit organization working to provide support to widows and orphans devastated by the AIDS/HIV virus in Ndola, Zambia. The Wiphan USA staff is compiled of all volunteers resulting in minimal expenditures in the US. Wiphan Zambia is run by Kunda and her staff, and they have made a tremendous impact in the community. They are currently running on a limited budget and her vision for the school has yet to be fully reached. The vision for the ministry is to be able to educate 300 orphan children and provide skills training to 100 women in a first class school facility as well as being able to feed each person at the end of the day. Our current resources do not allow us to feed the children and women at this time, but it is greatly needed.

We currently have two schools which also serve as training centers and churches. The orphans attend school at no cost. The widows attend job training in the areas of cooking, sewing, and knitting. Wiphan has also planted two churches which meet at the school facilities on Sunday. At the end of last year, Wiphan had the good fortune of raising enough money to start a new school building at one of the campuses. There are still many needs for the students to have the first class learning facility that we want to provide. Even the smallest monthly commitment would go a long way to making Kunda’s vision a reality.
