Child Sponsorship

Wiphan Care Ministries currently has 2 primary school campuses- one located in the Sinia compound and the other in the Mapalo compound- on the outskirts of Ndola, Zambia. Approximately 450 boys and girls attend our schools at no cost. Our goals are to provide each child with basic education, biblical teaching, health care, one meal per day, uniforms, and school supplies. We believe education is crucial to breaking the cycle of poverty and creating sustainable change for these orphaned and vulnerable children. Child sponsorship is one way we can build a bridge that connects Americans who care to children who need our help.

As a sponsor, you will have opportunities to communicate with your sponsored student throughout the year and will receive periodic updates on how your contributions are being used to not only meet the needs of the student but also to improve the quality of education for all of the boys and girls who attend Wiphan’s schools. While you and your family are able to develop a relationship with one student, you can also know that your monthly gift of just $39 is potentially changing the lives of hundreds, possibly thousands in a country that has been devastated by poverty, disease and death due to HIV/AIDS.

Writing your child…

The children love hearing from their sponsors and seeing photos of the families that make such a huge impact on their lives. We invite you to build a relationship with your sponsored child and the best way is through your letters and pictures. BrightPoint will also notify you when mission teams will be visiting your sponsored child’s community. You can send a more personal note to your child that will be hand-delivered by the team.

Wiphan Care Ministries partners with BrightPoint for Children to provide sponsorship for our students. BrightPoint for Children is a Christ-centered, child sponsorship organization through which sponsors can provide for the basic needs and education of impoverished children wherever they may live.
