OUR MISSION

To equip widows and orphans for a productive life offering hope to the hopeless through the love of Jesus Christ.

WHERE WE SERVE

Wiphan ministers to widows and orphans living in dire spiritual and physical poverty in the poorest areas outside of the city of Ndola, Zambia.

OUR STRATEGY

Wiphan serves and disciples widows and orphans to empower them through the gospel, education and skills training to glorify God and to walk in the purpose He has ordained for them. Native Christian Zambians minister to the spiritual, educational and physical needs of the widows and orphans.

 

SPIRITUAL

Widows and orphans learn about the saving grace of Jesus Christ through discipleship, mentoring relationships and Bible study.

PHYSICAL

Orphans and vulnerable children in Grades 1-7 attend school in a safe environment, are taught by caring adults who nurture them and receive a daily hot lunch and basic medical care.

EDUCATIONAL

Education and skills training are key in empowering widows and orphans to break the cycle of poverty.

 
 
 

Annually Wiphan provides education for 900 students in 1st-12th grades, and offers skills training in computer keyboarding, hospitality (hotel/lodging industry) and jewelry crafting to 200 widows and orphans (18 and older).
