MADALITSO KALOMBE | Wiphan CEO

Madalitso Kalombe started as CEO with Wiphan in 2018. He is responsible for the faculty, staff and operations of the schools, skills training programs and data entry center. He has a passion for widows and orphans, a strong sense of purpose and spiritual conviction. “I believe God has gifted me in the area of teaching. I love to share HIs knowledge and wisdom to enlighten and empower His people.” Mr. Kalombe’s experience at Northrise University in recruitment, admissions and student life has brought fresh perspective and ideas to the primary and secondary school programs. The position as Education and Employment Coordinator at Mencap has given him the expertise to understand and work on improving the skills training programs to better equip widows and older orphans for the job market.

Madalitso’s educational background includes attending the London School of Economics, Unique College, and Northrise University where he is currently working on his Bachelor of Theology Degree. In his free time, he enjoys creating art from recycled materials and reading. Madalitso and his wife, Gwanire, live in Ndola with their son.

Primary School
Education

Wiphan offers a 1-7th grade education for 650 orphans and vulnerable children in our three schools located in the compounds on the outskirts of Ndola.

Secondary School Education

For students who successfully complete 7th grade, Wiphan pays the tuition for secondary government school.

Skills
Training

Widows and older orphans (18+ years old) can learn a skill in Jewelry Crafting, Hospitality or Computer Keyboarding.
